This October, IBU is proud to welcome Sea Smoke for a special seven-course dinner celebrating one of California’s most distinctive producers of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

From its estate vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills, Sea Smoke crafts extraordinary wines shaped by the cool Pacific fog that gives the winery its name. The result is a collection of highly acclaimed, expressive Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs with depth, elegance and a true sense of place.

And the wines are something special. Sea Smoke’s highly allocated Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs have developed a devoted following. Access to its Estate wines is normally offered though Sea Smoke’s allocation list, making this a rare opportunity to experience a selection of these sought-after wines together in one evening.

Chef Joel and the IBU culinary team have created an original seven-course, seafood-forward menu specifically for the evening, exploring flavours from the sea alongside pork and beef – each course designed to reveal something different in the Sea Smoke wines.

Joining us for the evening will be Elliot Hunter, who represents Sea Smoke wines in Calgary and will share the stories behind the vineyards and the wines as he guides us through the evening’s pours.
